It's hard to be humble in a world filled with inflated egos. To safely put it, the world in which we live in has rejected the order of nature. Nature's timing, lessons, craftsmanship, and beauty has been forsaken due to our love for technological advancements. Due to man's craving for instant gratification here we stand before God a broken and misused species. Punishing man God has giving us the gift of free will. Our free will hasn't always brought fourth good deeds, but pain, misery, greed, and lust have followed suit during some courses of time. The pages of history is my witness to the claim that was stated previously. We should be thankful that there is a God above that is gracious and merciful, supplying all of our needs while the earth is still whole.
Believe it or not I wasn't always the person I am today. Once upon a time I was an illiterate fifth grader. Enochlophobia and shyness would take over my body whenever I was called up to speak in front of a class or crowd (it still happens now between levels and 1 and 2). Facing bullies was one of my worst nightmares. Standing up for myself and obtaining self-belief was another flaw I once had. Overcoming obstacles is the only thing I could remember ever doing the whole time that I have existed on this earth. Waking up every morning I get on my knees and give thanks and glory to Almighty God. I give Him thanks and praises now and forever. Through my actions and the places I go my mission is to make sure that He is always present.
An Android A20, Xbox One, HP laptop, and a Mr. Coffee maker are all possessions that reside in my household. There are those that don't have the things that I have. My neighbors and the people who roam the streets may not have all of what they need to get by (supposedly). Aiming to have the best in life should never be frowned upon. The same respect should be given to the person who has one t-shirt, two pairs of jeans, and one pair of sneakers too. We need to remember that each of us are members of the human family first and foremost. Not one of us are to place ourselves a judge of subjects. Only He can sit on a throne and make man confess to his sins (both big and small). Proudly, I come before you and say that I am that average Joe. A tight knit circle surrounds me on Facebook. Taking over the world is not my goal, but to influence on person is all I need.
Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are all blessings to society. Without these networks communicating would be hell in a handbasket. However, social media has turned into arenas for competitive use. Instead of worrying about one's circle of friends the idea that you can gain notoriety based off of having over one hundred friends rules the day. Followers and receiving views off content has determine who can get a big break. Work ethnic, talent, and good character have been replaced with hashtags and personality. Social media can also help a person appear bigger than he/or she really is. Comparing one's joyride with your shortcomings is never a good game to play. If you ask me the privilege of giving thanks to God day in and day out is the only thing we as humans need.
Existing in the human body comes with temptation. Lust in all it's forms has made it's way into our lives through the sensation we know as urges. As mature men and women we have to make sure that we address the devices that pull our strings. Since the beginning of time The Devil has been busy deceiving God's creation. Right now social media is The Devil's device. The statistics show that when an individual is addicted to social media they reject all things that are based on reality and live in mythical places in their head. I myself have grew a distinct distaste for social media. It's like having an invisible pulling you (metaphorically). Being entertained and feeding your ego can be seen as one in the same. Humanity has been degraded to a state of downright negativity. Wishing and hoping is no use because deep down we know things won't go back to normal.
Let not the hard times make you believe that the world is ending. Take everything that you are going through and let it mold you into the person you need to be. All of our fears and ambitions should be cast on Him. Pray, fast, and have fellowship because we are living in the last days. Be strong and hold onto faith. It might be the only thing we have left.
